E assim como os cientistas e pesquisadores da NASA realizam estudos e fazem descobertas importantes, o espaço também é palco de algumas descobertas bizarras que você jamais imaginou. E nem só de luzes, planetas e estrelas hipnotizantes é composto o lugar. Separamos para você uma lista com as descobertas espaciais mais bizarras e inesperadas.

1 – Uma Lupa Colossal
Essa lupa é um efeito gerado por causa da força da gravidade que desvia a luz. O efeito provocado é o de uma lente gravitacional, onde os objetos que os astrônomos enxergam podem parecem estar onde estão, mas podem não estar.
Esse efeito é uma espécie de alguma massa espacial de cor azul que está diretamente atrás de uma outra de cor vermelha e a gravidade acaba dobrando a luz ao seu redor.
2 – O “Mickey Mouse” Encontrado na Lateral de Mercúrio
Essa imagem foi registrada pela nave Messenger, da Nasa, que orbitava por Mercúrio. A nave foi a primeira a tentar explorar e buscar os segredos e a evolução do planeta mais interno do sistema solar.
A foto exibe três crateras acumuladas estão localizadas ao sul do planeta e são resultados de uma sombra com semelhança bastante parecida com a fisionomia do personagem de desenho animado Mickey Mouse.
3 – O Cobertor da Via Láctea
Esse é um mistério cósmmico que envolve a Via Láctea. Algumas partículas subatômicas chamadas de bárions que deviam estar em grandes quantidades, mas parecem estar faltando. E cientistas descobriram que a galáxia está envolta por uma nuvem de gás bastante quente e enorme, atingindo uma temperatura de 1 a 2,5 milhões de Kelvin.
Em parceria com o satélite europeu XMM Newton e os Suzaku Japoneses, o Observatória Chandra observou que a galáxia está coberta por uma grande e quantia de gás fervente. Segundo estimativas, esse “cobertor” pode ser maior que o tamanho da própria galáxia.
4 – A Maior Radiogaláxia Encontrada
Elas têm esse nome pelo motivo de emitirem grandes quantidades de energia em comprimentos de onda de rádio. Muitos afirmam que elas são bastante agradáveis a olho nu e se parecem com raves cósmicas enormes.
A maior radiogaláxia já encontrada se chama J1420-0545 e seu tamanho se estende a 15 milhões de anos-luz do espaço.
5 – Um Filamento de Hidrogênio
Cientistas ficaram intrigados com a descoberta de uma linha de hidrogênio puro no grupo de galáxias NGC 7448. Essa ponte de hidrogênio possui um comprimento de 2,6 milhões de anos-luz, cerca de 20 vezes mais o tamanho da nossa Via Láctea.
Essa ponte contém mais hidrogênio que a própria Via Láctea e Andrômeda juntas e está localizada a 500 milhões de anos-luz de distância.
